Varying /roll Combat rules. Could be used for inter-guild events where Various levels are competing. (to give a fair advantage between vast level differences)

Some games I have played have varying dice for men and for women, and even varying in races. Simply due to size and differences. Here is a very simple example of a Dice system for Text based combat.

Command for rolling dice in WoW /roll (followed by the side of dice you wish to use) So if you wanted to use a 25 sided dice for combat you would type /roll 25

On the 25 sided dice system that I used it was as follows

1 - 5 is a miss. 6 - 10 = 1 Point damage 11 - 15 = 2 Points damage 16 - 20 = 3 Points damage 21 - 25 = 4 Points damage

On this system a typical person would have 50 life points. (This number can be adjusted for time/etc) Fights to the death require going all the way to that person loosing their 50 life points at 45 points the "winner" can offer quarter, giving his or her terms.. Spars or friendly brawls would go to 40 points. (Again numbers can be adjusted)

Fights generally start with a /roll (which is 100 sided) whomever gets the highest starting number gets to go first. Posting their action, then rolling their dice to see if they hit or not.

Some systems allow for a counter attack / block. That would allow the person being attacked to negate the damage done to them. however this takes alot more time and effort on the part of those involved.

Chronias is currently the standing Champion of the monthly tournament. Rankings will be adjusted at the next, based on placing in the tournament along with Number of overall victories.
